Where am I? What am I doing here?
You are currently in a Deluxe Prime Network Support page reading this FAQ and I have no idea what led you here.
I am unable to offer you biscuits nor coffee in this digital age. I recommend you proceed on your way if you have higher priorities than visiting me, else hang around and prepare for a read. I have typed in many words for any visitors who dares venture here. Still, allow me to welcome you to a site of the DXC Network, hosted by Google New Sites.
Who are you? What do you do?
I identify myself as Deluxe Prime (DXC). As of now in the era of corona, I have left active military service a few months back and is currently jobless as of April 2021. More about myself, I graduated from Republic Polytechnic (RP) in May 2018 holding a Diploma in Information Technology (DIT) certificate.
Today, I manage two domains, all which hosts their own www hosts with naken domain redirects. DXChiam additional Downloads and Support sites, more information can be found in Quick Links. Do check them out. Here is the list:
DXChiam.com (www, connect, download, support)
DXCellon.com (www)
I have background knowledge in Mathematics and Science due to me using all my free time either playing games and reading wikipedia articles that got no revelance to my academics back in my days as a student. The diploma I got from RP, means that I am capable of doing IT stuff. That includes Python, Java (and JS), ASP.NET, Windows Batch Files, Linux (Ubuntu Distro) Bash Files, some Cisco Switch and Router configurations. My favourite thing to do are creating Virtual Machines (VMs). May it be Virtual Box or VM Workstation, I am glad to say I have Hyper V on a Windows 10 Pro machine! The extra few bucks are worth it in the end comrade! As of now, I have explored my way to managing a Discord Bot after creating it in less than a month ago. All that began with a humble beginning of trying to fix my home router more than a decade ago.
However, I am still lazy. Rather than creating web apps, you are staring at a Google Sites page. Hope you aren't turned off by that. :|
How do I contact you?
There are no means to contact me as of now. There are plans to setup a contact email address soon, and soon is a long time coming...
Try dxchiam@dxchiam.com or dxcellon@dxcellon.com to requesting communication establishment. Do note that I might or might not reply!
What is DXChiam (dxchiam.com) used for?
DXChiam or dxchiam.com is used for personal branding. This is the list of sites under DXChiam:
The home site (www) of DXChiam is the central hub to all other contents in the DXC Network. An about page, shortcuts to DXCellon and DXCC, links to Patreon, Twitch and Youtube, along with my public Discord Server C3 - the server is quite under populated and inactive, so I would need some light to casted upon the darkness that dwells between. Do join and say hi, I could need all the traffic I can get:
The DXC Connect (connect) site once used to be DXCC before the forceful removal of the DXCC.sg due to a case of an extremely bad case of tech support from a company known to be the bane of domains. However, what the "Connect" site does still does not change despite the name change - it still tries to connect to other people playing the same games, like Pokemon GO and World of Tanks.
The DXC Downloads (downloads) site is where all the downloadables of the DXC Network are. Please do take important note that everything that is done there are nothing but hobbies and we as an entity, shall not be held responsible for any damages caused while using its contents. If you need help, you can try seeing if support have a page delicated to that.
The DXC Support (support) site is where updates and changes in the DXC Network are reflected, usually. Many things are still quite incomplete and hence support will not be complete as I, DXC is a one man army managing all these and I am mere pursuing my hobbies and interests.
That sumarises the whole thing for DXChiam, for now.
What is DXCellon (dxcellon.com) used for?
DXCellon or dxcellon.com is used for any projects, works, hosting of anything as a result of my interests and hobbies. The home site (www) is the only site in the DXCellon domain, other than a decommissioned forums site which runs on Classic Sites. Due to its nature as a forum, it will be gone forever when Classic Sites is no more.
A past project is a recreation of the DXChiam homepage on Microsoft Azure Portal. It was once accessible via dxchiam.works.dxcellon.com (when using Portal DNS as a paid service, cost are too high for a mere hobby, hence no more) and new.dxchiam.com (planned but never fully realised due to needing to upgrade the web app into a paid service, and I quite detest paid services when it is just for a hobby). However, the site is still up at https://dxchiam.azurewebsites.net
The most recent project are the Discord Bots project that began in mid August when I received a message from a system bot on an old account, never regretted scripting my new bot, except the time and effort it ate from August 2020 to February 2021. Despite its progress being stopped for a while, that is just the end of its first phrase. For more details and how you can help with the second phrase when I get to work again, consider contributing by joining the Bot Works discord server:
That sumarises the whole thing for DXCellon.
What was DXCC (dxcc.sg) used for and what happened?
DXCC or dxcc.sg was used for shortcuts, other miscs. The only one that I can share was using Bitly as a service. Well. I actually wanted DXCC.com but someone was crazy enough to buy related domains and not use it. Hence I got no choice but to show the world what a patriot I am for my country. Does that answer your question?
For what happened and is it no more, see New Features under De-Go-Da-lisation Plan (Phrase One: De-DXCC-lisation). All existing DXCC sites have been either removed or rebranded. These are the summarised updates:
Update 1 (Changes 2021 March 20): DXCC has been rebranded as DXC Connect. In 2021 April, the old URL (dxcc.sg) will stop working and the new URL (connect.dxchiam.com) will be the sole point of connection as DXC Connect (DXCC) till further notice.
Update 2 (Changes 2021 April 22): DXCC.sg have been officiall removed from the DXC Network. DXCC.sg as a brand is officially decommissioned. However, DXCC will continue to be used in existing and new brands. The Bitly service using "sc.DXCC.sg" have completed its transition with the renewal of old links using the custom URL to Bitly URLs. Not many shortcuts survived the purge.
Update 3 / Last Update - TBA
What are your plans for the future?
Haha, what plans? I just need a job. That is all that matters now in this era or corona. The world burns and we all burn with it... Amen
